The Fall haben insgesamt 24 Peel-Sessions
(und viele andere Radio-Sessions) gespielt. Da gibt
es einiges, was veröffentlicht wurde. So werden
oft auf Wieder-Veröffentlichungen Peel-Sessions
als Bonustracks mit draufgepackt.
Zwei CDs mit Peel-Sessions sind allerdings besonders
empfehlenswert:
Zuerst das Box-Set mit den kompletten
Peel-Sessions (1978 -2004), die in den Maida-Vale
Studios in London aufgenommen wurden. Es erschien
im August 2004 und enthält sechs CDs mit fast
100 Songs.
Die zweite Empfehlung ist eine Compilation,
die Steve Hanley zusammengestellt hat. Sie erschien
im Januar 1999 und enthält das beste vom Besten
plus einem Track, der bislang noch nie irgendwo veröffentlicht
wurde (A Past Gone Mad von der Mark Goodier-Session
im Mai 1993). Für Hanley-Fans ein klares Muss,
aber auch eine sehr schöne Sache für Fall-Beginner.
